We craft stories with makers of meaning, art and place.

What We Do
A Tasmanian illustrator sharing her story with Connect Curate Create.

Stories make us human.

At ConnectCurateCreate (CCC), we craft long-form films that capture the heart and craft of Tasmania — from artisan makers and lifestyle businesses to regional communities and local creatives. Our films do more than showcase your work: they connect you with audiences who share your values and passion.

With over 20 years’ experience in community-based storytelling across Australia and the UK, we make short films with empathy, integrity, and care.

We listen deeply. We collaborate openly. And we uncover the stories that help your work resonate with the people who truly care.

How We Work

We’ve created three StoryCraft project options

Every CCC StoryCraft project option is designed to bring your audience closer to your craft, your place, and your story.

Each StoryCraft project is tailored to a different kind of maker:

Common Threads

For local lifestyle and artisan businesses

We co-create films with you and your most engaged customers to show how you do what you do best, and how they connect with your products, your story, and your values.

These films are grounded, real-life stories told from the outside-in — designed to build trust, spark connection, and grow your brand through the people who already believe in what you do.

Studio Stories

A woman sharing their story of equity, diversity and inclusion in the Tasmanian creative industries.

For artists and creatives

We work with you to document your creative process, the story behind your practice, and why your work matters.

These films are made with deep respect — helping you connect your art and creativity with new audiences, supporters, funders, clients and collaborators.

Neighbourhood Narratives

For communities, councils & local arts organisations

We collaborate with regional councils, community groups and local organisations to tell your stories about everyday community creativity, belonging, and place.

These films capture the lived experience of the people who shape their neighbourhoods through art and creativity — helping build cultural connection, identity and visibility you all can be proud of.

Our StoryCraft films feel different — and they work

We don’t start with a script — your StoryCraft film begins with you.

A Tasmanian creative showing their artwork to Connect Curate Create.

It’s a collaborative journey of discovery — part field trip, part creative workshop — where we work closely with you and those who love your work to uncover the stories that are already there, just waiting to be told.

Each StoryCraft film is built on trust, curiosity, and co-creation. We don’t manufacture narratives — we surface the ones that matter. The ones full of heart. The ones your audience can see themselves in.

Our process is local and deeply human — and that’s why our films feel different.

Because when makers like you tell their stories in their own words, with the support of those who already care, something powerful happens: others want to be part of it.

That’s how we help you grow — not by shouting louder, but by sharing more honestly.

Let’s craft a story your current and future customers, clients, supporters won’t forget.
